Rev.
Dr. G. Mortha Roy grew up as an orphan. He was fed
and cared for by a widow woman in a small village.
He belonged to an idol worshipping Pagan Hindu
Religion. His beliefs were against the Christian
principles. He opposed Christians at every
opportunity, destroyed Christian meetings and abused
the God they loved. Fortunately, unbeknownst to him
God led him to marry a Christian woman and he was
blessed with two sons and a daughter. But for
several years, there was no peace and understanding
between them with respect to their religious
beliefs.
Vimala, Mortha's
wife used to pray for his repentance and salvation
even though she was cruelly tortured by her husband.
Unfortunately, Vimala was attacked by Cancer. They
had approached several doctors and spent huge
amounts of money but, all In vain modern medicine
had no cure. To further the attack in their lives
Bro. Mortha was also suffering with a dangerous
satanic disease.
The Gracious Lord
with His blessed hands, gave this couple a great
healing touch. They were both delivered from the
clutches of death into life. Mortha then accepted
Jesus as his personal savior and was baptized and
filled with the Holy Spirit. He was then III-treated
by his own family and relatives and they were
totally rejected by all cause they started believing
and accepted Jesus in their lives.
Dr. Mortha
experienced several persecutions and hard times but
Satan was not able to pull him down. Mortha is a
humble servant with a call and a great commitment.
He has a vision to win India for Christ through
evangelism at remote and Interior tribal villages.
He has a burden to establish the Kingdom of the Lord
by winning souls, constructing churches, supporting
the pastors, providing medical facilities, caring
for the uncared children, elderly and widow women,
providing education, etc.,
The Ministry needs
your valuable prayers for Church planting and
charitable ministry by stretching hands for the
needy. Kindly consider this as our sincere and
hearty invitation to India for participating In the
Blessed work to be abundantly BLESSED. Nehemiah 2:18
